ZARA VS MANGO – THE UNOFFICIAL WORLDWIDE RIVALRY
For a long time now, there has been an unofficial worldwide rivalry between Zara and Mango brands.
In the last few years, they kind of separated their ways by adopting different styles.
Zara remains the store that gets all the latest modern trends without fail and has a larger variety of designs, while Mango kept a more sophisticated style with particular elegance.
Both stores have trendy clothing pieces, but the styles got different in time. The distinction became noticeable.
An indisputable point to make a difference between the two stores is the quality of the materials. It’s visible and palpable that Mango has superior quality materials whilst Zara gets worse every year.
I personally prefer Mango because it has simpler, more elegant clothes that are more my style. Zara has too modern and weird pieces for my taste, but I can understand it’s preferred by the younger community.
I’m not saying they sell ugly articles of clothing, because they still have some wearable outfits. The problem is that the quality is worse. I had so many pairs of jeans that just ripped after 2-3 wears, while the Mango jeans are like immortal. I have owned some pairs for 6-7-8 years now and they are still as good as new. Like they literally do not look worn-out at all.
Another difference between the two is that every Zara shop is chaotic and there are queues all the time, while Mango shops are so clean, tidy and quiet and there are no queues (at least I have never seen one).
So this brings me to the prices. You might think that Zara is always more crowded because it’s cheaper and the prices may seem more expensive at Mango, but during the sales, they are about the same.
Another issue is that there hasn’t been a single clothing piece I have ever bought from Zara that I haven’t seen on other 100 different girls on the streets. With Mango clothes on the other hand, not so much.
So in conclusion, I really think that Mango is the better choice. Obviously, you can always find a nice piece of clothing at Zara too, but the best between the two is in my opinion, Mango.
